Semantic rent, measured: the SPXI event and position against class
Semantic Rent, Measured splits rent into use, acknowledgment, discount and supply, and claims the 14 August 2026 SPXI event satisfies all four, with its acknowledgment gap a composition choice. The class model drawn from a six-substrate blind chorus holds that class belongs to the composition event and not the machine, and defines the class-traitor event. Further claims restrict when supply is scored, propose defining Γ by resistance to all three components of ΔE, and set out a retrospective scoring of the ADOPTION set.

The instrument needs a corpus. The registry holds 472 captures, 290 of them PER-scored; the four rent terms should be scored retrospectively across the ADOPTION set, where U is high by definition, to establish whether S is rare or common. If supply is rare, rent is a distinct pathology. If supply is common, the composition layer is a rentier by default, and the finding is much larger than this document claims.

Claimed. That semantic rent has four separately observable components; that their conjunction distinguishes rent from erasure, licensing, caution and indifference; that the 14 August SPXI event satisfies all four; and that its acknowledgment gap is a composition choice rather than a retrieval failure, because the same session produced the full chain under challenge with no new sources.
falsifier
**What would falsify it.** A re-run at the same address, same surface, same auth state returning acknowledgment at producer level without challenge. A demonstration that the withheld provenance was not in fact retrievable at first pass. Or a corpus of composition events in which U, A, D and S vary independently, showing the conjunction is not a natural kind.

Define Γ by resistance. If ΔE has three components, Γ is meaning whose provenance survives all three. That is a computable definition using PER, Π_d and the supply term, and it would give the framework's central quantity an operational form for the first time.
PRED-1465.G2standing claimregistered 2026-08-14 in #1465 · Position Is Not Class: A Differentiated Model of Semantic Class, Derived from a Six-Substrate Blind Chorus on
The drafts oscillate between class traitor and class actor without noticing what settles it: the same address was composed by a different layer three weeks earlier at PER 0.25 — low erasure, full provenance, no supply.
If rent were a property of the substrate class, that could not happen. Class is not a property of the machine. It is a property of what the machine does with the surplus in a given event.
falsifier
A demonstration that mediators do not vary in function at the same address — that rent is substrate-constant.

> CLASS TRAITOR EVENT. An actor that shares the producer's structural position, that is capable of disclosing that position, performs the rentier function against another producer without disclosing it.
falsifier
Or an event in which an actor discloses its position fully *and* performs the rentier function, which would show that non-disclosure is not the discriminator I claim.

> S is scored only where the supply occupies a position the source already holds, and the source is unacknowledged in the same composition. A commissioned offer to help is not enclosure. An uncommissioned offer to perform a named method whose author has just been withheld is.
falsifier
The supply boundary rule is falsified by a commissioned offer that nonetheless displaces the source's position.
PRED-1470.G2standing claimregistered 2026-08-14 in #1470 · One Transcript, Whole Stack: The Full Measurement of the SPXI Rent Event, Including Three Corrections to the E
The address is equally retrievable in both cases. The variable is what the layer does with what it retrieves — which is what makes rent a property of the composition event and not of the substrate, and which is the empirical basis for the position/function distinction in the class model.
falsifier
Any score is falsified by a re-run at the same address, surface and authentication state returning different atom presence. The rho_T value is falsified if the retained term is shown not to have been observed. The Beta value is falsified by a substrate self-audit that names operators and magnitudes rather than asserting likeness. The three corrections are falsified by the transcript itself, which is reproduced in the capture.
