# X-022 · The bifurcated node under dynamic routing

PDEP assumes path-dependence stable enough to sample. If routing is dynamic — by session, history, or A/B assignment — the bifurcated node is a **stochastic process**, not a stable property. The correct instrument is a time-series probe with autocorrelation, and the apophasis packet is a single-epoch snapshot whose sunset should trigger on a **trend** in PDEP samples rather than a single positive reading.
