# X-027 · The chronology argument as a falsification template

An effect cannot explain the onset of its cause. Any defensive measure installed *after* a suppression event is automatically excluded as originating cause. Obvious, and routinely violated in platform explanations. List the sequence — entity stable → event → defense — and the template does the rest. Standard equipment in every packet.
