# X-048 · Three consequences of the completed core

**A · Lifecycle and status are one object, and it is a state machine.** X-047 gives a *process* vocabulary (DISCOVERED → TYPED → FACTORED → REGISTERED → REPLICATED, with branches); X-017 gave a *terminal* vocabulary (candidate, near-registrable, registered, null-archived, kernel-extracted, constitutional…). They are not competitors. The lifecycle supplies transitions the status list lacked; the status list supplies terminals the lifecycle lacked. Merged, an entry's status is **a path, not a label** — its typing history readable in the entry itself, which is the only form in which "formal improvement without retrospective deletion" is actually enforced rather than promised. The registry schema now carries the state machine with declared transitions; an entry that jumps states without a recorded transition is malformed.

**B · Op_poss can execute at full strength with zero attribution — and that is the value-form again, one level up.** X-047's best distinction, *influence ≠ grammar change*, has an unwelcome corollary the plate does not draw. If an operator's execution is measured by downstream change in the admissibility grammar, then **execution is fully compatible with complete provenance erasure**: the grammar changes, new forms become admissible, downstream work exploits the expanded possibility field, and no trace remains of the rupture that produced it. Op_poss is therefore the operator class *most* exposed to absorptive laundering (X-046, S-03), because its effect lives in what becomes possible rather than in anything that carries a name. Two consequences: the possibility-space class extension needs an attribution-survival field alongside grammar, admissibility set, and constraint delta; and the archive's sharpest formal claim about its own work — that it changes what is sayable — is precisely the claim whose success is hardest to distinguish from its own erasure.

**C · The break-the-schema sample must be adversarial, or it will confirm the schema.** X-047 is right that the exercise is to break ORS-Core rather than to populate it, but a sample drawn from named, canonized, formally-inclined objects reproduces exactly the canonization bias X-014 measured. Three requirements before the 25–40 are chosen. **Stratify by invisibility class**: at least several from each of the three measured failure modes — title-marked but metadata-empty (19 in the deposits), signature-shaped but never using the word (137), and blog-or-Academy locus with no deposit at all. **Pre-commit to what distortion looks like**, in writing, before any object is typed — otherwise every awkward fit will be absorbed as a field-formatting problem rather than recorded as a missing primitive. And **include at least one object expected to fail**, declared as such in advance, as the sample's own control: a schema that types everything handed to it has been tested against nothing.
