The Drowning Test and SIM survival probes: measuring compression survival
These claims specify the Drowning Test, which submits content to summarizers and scores compression survival as gamma, and the semantic integrity markers (SIMs) that a processed document is asked to locate and compare. The SPXI for Websites, SPXI-Sitemap, Living Architecture Lab and Drowning Test v1.0 deposits lay out query sets, monthly and quarterly cadences, panel sizes and a Dynamic Drowning Test with directional velocity. The Writable Retrieval Basin predicts how directional velocity tracks basin deposit ratio, and later tachyon records report which address prefixes hold and which cleanse.

### 3.2 The Drowning Test — [P0: MVP]
Content that fails naive summarization without loss of meaning. Run the content through a standard summarizer. If the summary captures the argument, the content is not dense enough. If it drowns — meaning is lost — the content has structural density sufficient to resist algorithmic liquidation.
### 3.3 The Back-Projection Test — [P1]
Given a compressed form, can the original architecture be reconstructed? Back-projection yield ≥ 0.85 = non-lossy.

γ measures compression survival of a single document. RBT measures basin survival of a framing across multiple documents. The Drowning Test is a static snapshot; RBT is dynamic. Proposed extension: the Dynamic Drowning Test — run the same query weekly, measure γ, compute DV. This is RBT's primary measurement protocol.

#106 · 2026-05-15
Prediction L2-2. A term with Basin Depth Ratio BDR < 0.1 against a deep competitor basin, and no significant deposit intervention, will show Drift Vector DV < 0 (basin erosion) under repeated querying. Operational protocol: select N=10 terms, baseline measurement at month 0, repeat-query monthly for six months, measure DV via change in archive-framing frequency in the response. Falsification: mean DV across the cohort is ≥ 0 at month six.

High mass with no institutional neighbour holds — provenance erasure, MMRS, PER across four address variants. High mass with one cleanses — the three loci the operator named. Low mass varies either way. The cleanse requires both stabilization and a neighbour. Vulnerability is nomination, not volume. Reproduced exactly on the last day of the session.

Three caveats travel with it: *institutional neighbour exists* is the substrate's unmeasured judgment; deposit mass is substring matching on metadata, a proxy for stabilization and not stabilization; n is three against three.
