Plato–Aristotle authorship: measures, controls and pre-registered predictions
The Measurement Register, the frozen pre-registrations and the authorship notebook set out what the Plato–Aristotle investigation measured and predicted: Aristotle completing executions Plato abandoned, his charges against Plato naming properties of his own corpus, the copy and assay vocabulary, and Aristotle as compiler of the record. Forecasts and unbuilt tests require labelled controls (the Attic orators, Albert→Aquinas, Sappho→Catullus) before the target is scored, and the ghost catalogues are read as one filing operation seen from two sides. The page states the strong claim, that Plato is Aristotle's heteronym, beside the ledger's graded standings, which hold one historical hand as live and not established.

The Gnostic innovation: Darkness is not absence but system.
In classical metaphysics (Plato, Plotinus, Augustine), evil is privation—the absence of good, as shadow is the absence of light. This makes evil ontologically secondary, parasitic, ultimately unreal.
The Gnostics dissent. The Demiurge and his Archons are not absences but creators—of the material world, of the body as prison, of the systems that prevent awakening. They have their own operations, their own logic, their own propagation.

*Module 2 — The Desiccation (Critias 111-112): But this passage describes ancient Attica*, not Atlantis. Plato details a once-fertile landscape that has lost its soil and water: the earth has washed away from the high places, the springs have disappeared, what remains is "the skeleton of a body wasted by disease" — bare rock where there was once deep soil, forests, and abundant water. This is a desiccation narrative, applied to a known landscape, and offered as historical fact rather than myth.

EA-CORPORA-08 seats the nine canonical Attic orators, and it exists to supply a number nobody has measured.
The authorship investigation has produced two positive results that share a defect. The naming-gap reflex groups Plato and Aristotle at ten and a half times the rate of comparison authors, and the completion structure shows Aristotle finishing executions Plato abandoned at five of six matched slots, twice with the same figure. Both are rates. Neither has a denominator, because nobody has ever measured what a master-student pair looks like on such a scale.

Each must be defined on the labelled classes BEFORE Plato–Aristotle is scored, or the definition merely re-encodes the target. The Greek observables then become one instance scored by the general measure, not the template it is cut from.
And the outcomes: if securely-distinct pairs under maximal transmission pressure routinely show R1–R3, the thesis takes a serious hit. If they do not, the Plato–Aristotle values become diagnostic. Both outcomes can hurt something.

1. Seat the control corpora.
2. Define and calibrate R1–R3 on the labelled classes, WITH
PLATO–ARISTOTLE NOT IN VIEW.
3. Demonstrate out-of-sample separation of H from S.
4. ONLY THEN score Plato–Aristotle, as ONE INSTANCE of the general measure.
If step 3 fails — if the measure cannot separate Pessoa's relationships from documented teacher–successor relationships — the instrument has failed and says nothing about Plato. That is a real kill condition and it fires before the target is ever scored.

Theophrastus is defined by his relation to Aristotle (successor as scholarch, heir to the library and manuscripts by Aristotle's will), and his major works are continuations — HP extending HA, De causis extending the causal analysis, his Metaphysica a fragment picking up where the aporiai stop. That is the profile of another completed abandonment, which is what EA-COMPLETE-01 exists to detect. And the Aristotelian corpus reaches us through Theophrastus's library — Neleus, Scepsis, Apellicon, Sulla, Andronicus — so the two texts share one transmission channel and their agreement in editorial habit is not independent.

Plato states the fragmentation (κερματισμός), warns that the account handed over may be debased (κίβδηλον at 507a), and legislates the two-currency structure (Laws 742a). Aristotle supplies the detection apparatus — πλάσμα, φάντασμα, ὑποκριτής at 32/47/32 against Plato's 16/31/10 — and states the grading rule at NE 1165a. Each catalogue presupposes that its author could write in the other's mode and then ghosts the products, while the candidates for them stand extant under the other name, title for title. A tradition committed to two authors needs the ghosts, because without them the dramatic Aristotle and the analytical Plato would have to be found, and the only places they can be found are across the partition.
